On vacation - Jamaica 2007

- My wife, Michaelyn, and I have been married for 8 years. Our boys are four and one. We met through a fraternity brother when she was at Baylor and I was at the University of Texas at Austin.

- We dated for 5 years before I finally figured out what I had known all along. She is most surely the one for me.

- My wife received her Masters in Speech Pathology just before I began Law School at Baylor in 1998. After Law School, I worked for Chief Justice Rex Davis at the 10th Court of Appeals in Waco until 2001 when I took a position with Bishop and Bishop in Decatur.

- Coming home to Wise County in 2001 was a real blessing. I was able to get involved with local youth and my wife and I started our family where I grew up.

- I enjoy spending time with my boys out in the garage and playing in our backyard. My wife and I spend much of our weekend time in our flowerbeds with our kids and our dogs.
